Step 1. Lip Fix - (Optional)
Lip Fix neutralizes your lips and provides a base for lipstick. This helps
prevent bleeding and color changes.
Tools: Cosmetic Sponge

Dot a small amount of Lip Fix on your bottom and top lip and blend out
with a cosmetic sponge. Be sure and blend out over the edge of the lip line.
Step 2. Lip Liner
Lip Liner defines your lips, evens your lip line, helps prevent bleeding
and keeps your lipstick on longer. There are a variety of colors that can
be used for a lipliner. Select a color that blends with your natural lip
color or that matches your lipstick to keep your lipstick color "true."
To deepen your lipcolor, select a darker liner and to brighten your lipcolor, select a brighter liner. For variety, experiment using different lip liners with your "regular" lipstick (the different liners will tint the lipstick differently). This is great for travelers.
Tools: Metal Sharpener for Lip Pencils

Outline your natural lip line. If your lips are too thick, go just inside
the lip line. If they are too thin, draw your line on the actual lip line,
then draw another line on the outside of the first line to slightly widen
it. Face the mirror straight on and be sure your lip line is even. If it
isn't, slightly widen the narrow side. Fill in your lip with the liner.
If you are using a lip pencil, use a metal sharpener and blunt the edge
with your fingertip (a slightly blunt lip pencil works best).
Step 3. Lipstick
Lipstick finishes your look (you can do all your make-up and without lipstick you still won't look "finished") and helps balance your face. While your lips should not necessarily make a statement, be aware that if your lips are bare, they do make a statement--but it's not positive. Select a color to coordinate with your skin tone and with what you are wearing. Our lip colors are marked Warm, Cool or Both. If you have pink or cool undertones to your skin, you'll do better with the Cool colors. If you have warm or yellow undertones, select the Warm colors. Everyone can wear the colors marked Both. Remember, if you are very fair, the light and medium lip colors will be darker and if you have very dark skin, the light colors may be too pale.
Tools: Lip Brush

Using the lip brush, apply lipstick to the entire lip, outlining over the
liner, then filling in. A lip brush will give you an even application of
color. If you have thin lips the lip brush is a MUST for control in
applying lip color where you want it. Do NOT blot your lips, or rub your
lips together--both will cause the lip color to start wearing off. Wait
about 10 minutes before drinking or eating anything to give the color
time to dry.
All our lip colors wear very well.
Cremes and Frosts are soft and smooth. They are the moistest formulations
and reflect light well. The Cremes will look sheer and creamy, the frosts
will appear slightly lighter because they reflect light.
Lip Sheers are lightweight, smooth, glossy lip tints to lightly tint your lips. They can be worn alone for a light-weight tint or over your regular lipstick or lip liner for more depth and a slightly glossy finish.
Lip Gloss in a Pot or Tube is a lightweight, smooth, super-shiny gloss to lightly tint your lips. Glosses can be worn alone for a light-weight tint or over your regular lipstick or lip liner for more depth and a glossy finish. They adhere well and help prevent bleeding.
Exclusive Lipsticks are a smooth, soft formula. You can order these colors in your choice of formulation--creme, moisture matte and long wearing matte. They are also available unscented and scented and unflavored or flavored.
Lip Glace' is ultra sheer, ultra shine in a tube. Great as a topper to moisten and treat lips, it's also great alone or over liner for a touch of color and shine without noticeable color.
Custom Blend lipstick allows you to have a lipstick developed to your specifications--in the color, formulation and with the additives you want.
Step 4. Vitamin E/Hydro C - (Optional)
Vitamin E or Hydro C can be used to soothe and soften lips. It adds a look of moisture while providing a moisturizing effect.
Tools: None
Apply on top of your lip color or use alone. These are particularly useful over Matte Lipsticks.
The Vitamin E Stick is a clear, all natural stick. The Hydro C Stick is a clear, all natural, orange scented stick. (These can also be used in conjunction with the Lip Exfole' to help keep lips smooth, soft and flake-free.)
Step 5. Lip Glace' - (Optional)
Lip Glace' nourishes, moisturizes and soothes your lips and is available in a variety of tints. (The more color the less shine it has). It also adds a "wet" look to your lips. Use it on top of your lipstick or alone for sheer shine.
Tools: None
Apply a small amount of Lip Glace' on top of bare or made-up lips using the applicator in the tube.
Progress Check
Your make-up is complete. You should look beautiful. Step back
and check your blush--you may need another stroke to balance your
lip color.
To Dress The Lips Up for Evening
Select a brighter or deeper shade of lip pencil and lip color than you
would normally use. If you will be eating or drinking, try either a Long Lasting Matte Lipstick and a lip pencil (the best combination for longest lasting color) and top with one of the Lip Sheers to give a slight glisten and a moist feel. For high shine, use the Lip Glace' to finish your lips.
